A couple of months ago, there was an attempted kidnapping in Redondo Beach.  A woman was approached by several men in a white van, asked for directions, then tried to snatch her into the van.  The same thing just happened yesterday here in Hermosa Beach, and the authorities think the two incidents are related. Be careful out there! Anyone with information about either incident is asked to call Hermosa Beach police Detective Dorothy Scheid at 310-318-0360 or Redondo Beach police Detective Fabian Saucedo at 310-379-2477, Ext. 2481.
